Hello, recently on this forum I had people tell me that faking your driver version was impossible and then they closed my post. Well they were wrong. I went to regedit and went to HKEY_LOACAL-MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Video/{BB66A520-2383-47FA-89E9-717D665F49B9}/0000 then looked for ReleaseVersion and changed it to 17.50.10.01, then I exited regedit.(The folder {BB66A520-2383-47FA-89E9-717D665F49B9} may be different for you. I actually had to check all folders in the Video folder until I found ReleaseVersion) I was getting a black screen and then crashing so I installed this update: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36805&751be11f-ede8-5a0c-058c-2ee190a24fa6=True. BAM! It booted up and I can mess with settings and move around the menu. But my gpu is too weak so when I try to actually play, the graphics driver crashes. But I still did it. why did you all said it was not possible and then shut down my post?

I achieved nothing except more knowledge about pcs and regedit. And it s a hobby, and hobbies are not really supposed to achieve anything. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Now I know my gpu can not run it, so I am sure I need to upgrade.
