How to Play MP3 Into Mic?

I would like to know how you play audio without some other thing like a phone/tablet or whatever. Is it possible to just play MP3 directly into your mic so other people can hear it? Btw, I don't know if this is the correct section but it seemed the most reasonable. Thanks!

You can use Virtual Audio Cable:

Have the MP3 player output audio to the virtual audio cable.
set the microphone inpute as the virtual audio cable.
