I want to fit two new 4tb WD reds into a little Plex rig built with a Cooler Master Elite 110 cube case but I’m slightly worried about the heat and vibrations.

What’s the best way to ensure the hardrives are dampened?

Can’t find much online about it

Solution
Temps.
I have a QNAP TS-453a NAS, and a TR-004 USB-C enclosure.
They are about as small as you can get and squeeze 4x drives in each. Maybe 0.4" clearance between each drive.

In the NAS box, the drives are sitting at 27-29C
In the TR-004 enclosure, they are at 29-30C

Under load (playing out 2x movies at the same time), temp might rise a degree or two rising to 34C after 20 mins.

Temps are not an issue.

Screwed solidly into the case, they'll be fine.
Especially WD Red/Seagate Ironwolf...they are designed for this.
