My specs are listed in peofile based on what i have and am building with And currently have.

On my motherboard on all ram slots the pins will not go down on one side but the other goes down super easy. I know some boards are design so only one goes down but in the manual it shows both down. This in mind how would i insert it properly?

Solution
Ram model is CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 3000Mhz 1.35v
Please look at the modules. The side with the model number sticker should be facing away from the CPU and the side with the Corsair Vengeance LPX sticker should be facing toward the CPU. Also, while getting the orientation correct, make sure to place the modules in slot A2 and B2. The module layout looks like this |CPU Socket| |Slot A1|Slot A2|Slot B1|Slot B2|.
My ram is ddr4, but the pins that are supposed to go down both sides to get the ram in then go up to lock it are the issue.

The pins on one side go down like they should but do not on the other. The side that does not go down is my issue as i cannot put the ram in.

What do you mean the notch? also i guess the instructions use stock photos cause pdf board manual showed both sides opened. I tried getting the ram in but doing so causes the retention clips to not close while the ram itself is in the slots. Is tht normal?

The video makes it look Easy. Maybe the board has an issue? Its easier to put in the ram when its backwards but both ways that clip will not lock with the ram in. The square part of the ram's edge before the opening blocks it.

I know this should be a simple thing, and i have worked with a duel retention clip board without issue, but this being my first actual build and time seeing a board like this, it isn't simple at all.

Bad photo, very blurry.
From what is visible, ram obviously is not properly inserted (ram contacts are still visible).

Push ram module into the slot. Do not try to close the clip manually. It will close automatically, when ram module is properly pressed in. This may require to use a little of force.

BTW - are you sure it's DDR4 module? and not DDR3 for example? Ram module must align with notch in middle of ram slot.

This is actually what I'm trying to determine by asking for the model number. From the picture it looks like it's DDR3 which would explain why it doesn't fit. Hopefully the OP responds.
