How to quickly check my new video card (gtx 770 4gb) for problems?

So I just received my new card today. It is a PNY gtx 770 4gb. I'm replacing asus amd 280x which gave me nothing but artifacts in games. I need to quickly check this card for issues. Not in the mood to game for a while. How can I test this card without gaming to make sure nothing is wrong with it?

3dmark, unigine valley etc?

furmark used to be 'good' but now it is so heavily limited via the drivers it has sorta lost its point...

Run benchmarks like Valley or Heaven for several hours for stability checks. Run 3D Mark Firestrike or Furmark etc...
