Hello, I am still new in this installing and uninstalling of programs on computers, now because I wanted to explore more of my PC I decided to download and install windows 7 pro on my PC as liked it more compared to the windows 8.1 that actually came with my PC out-of-box, I did not uninstall windows 8.1 from my PC now it looks like it has consumed most of hard-drive disk space now what I would like to be assisted on is that, how do I uninstall both of the programs, which is windows 7 pro that I recently installed and windows 8.1 which was already on my system, without losing any files on my system e.g, photos, music, games, and videos and install windows 8.1 of which I have all the disks for windows 8.1 and disks for the drivers as well and license.

please assist thanks.

Regards,
Emmanuel

You will need to backup your files before you can begin the new installation process, (Everything will be wiped). To back them up, connect a USB drive or any other sort of external device to copy them onto. Disconnect that device.

Here are the steps to perform a clean installation of Windows 8.1 with the disc:

Be sure to correctly follow Step 6 and 7. This is where you will be completely deleting both Windows 7 Pro & Windows 8.1

It's very simple to do again once you've done it. If you need further help with any of the steps just reply here.
