Hello,
I am wanting to record an amateur music video. All I am using is Dell Webcam and Presonus Audio box. What is the best thing to use/download to record the music and video at the same time or is there a video program I can import the MP3 or Wave file. Ive confused myself now!

Solution
You probably already have Windows Movie Maker on your computer if you are running Vista. Not sure if you have played around with it much, but you can create videos with music with ease in that program. Here are a few sites to help get you started!

Also, take a look at this site for another good software:

I hope this helps!

Thanks so much Brett, I will look at those sites. Just needed a place to start and didnt want to reinvent the wheel. Cheers. Cant say I really know how this site/blog thing works!

hey ive just made my second music video, and ill put the link here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaG-2WtgmNI

i used all of my sources, my friends, their cars, a woods not far away, my camera, etc etc, if you are smart the whole thing can be free, then all you need is windows movie maker, or something better if your willing to pay, if you are, it will be worth it! and time,.

also preperation before hand is a massive must!

storyboard it! think about why people are in the shot, would it be more effective with one person instead of three? ask yourself as many questions as you possibly can, cover everyground... but dont expect it to go that way on the day. i know that sounds contradicting but in my experience, youi have to learn to go with the flow whilst keeping your eye on the prize. the last shot of my video( the link above) was not storyboarded at all or even thought of, i did one shot, and it ended up being way better than what i had in mind as the ending!

i hope this helps!
