Hi there
I have TP-Link Archer C5400 KR v2 router and it's go boot loop and doesn't booting
I tried every way on it but nothing
Can any one say me how recover it and get life back to router?
I tried TFTP64 and it's nothing showing up
And I tired 192.168.0.1 and rest mode and router don't go rest mode
And ervething on this router is Korean except router name 😂

I assume if you found the instructions on how to use the tftp method you also found the newer methods on the tplink site.

There used to be much more information on this topic back when people were attempting to load third party firmware. Not as common since the factory version of firmware have improved so much it tend to not be worth the hassle.

I would look on the third party firmware sites for models that might be similar or maybe use the same chipset. These guys get very ambitious to hack into routers. There are some that have console ports you can solder a cable onto the board and other use chip reading/writing attachments.

Generally unless you were messing with the firmware when it just suddenly fails it means something like the chip the firmware is stored in is bad. It can be many other things but you are getting far into non software related issues.

Brother, I don't want to hack the router, I just want to return the firmware so that the router works, unfortunately, a problem occurred during the update, but the router is stuck in the boot loop and I can't do anything, it doesn't even go to recovery mode.

The exact process varies a lot. Some you have to hold in a button when you plug it in. Others you have to hold it until a certain light appears and then release it. It is very difficult even when it works as it should. All you can do is try the various recovery methods for similar routers if you can not find instructions for your exact router. After you have tried a number of times you then start looking for a new router.

I tend to never upgrade router firmware unless there is some bug that directly affects me. Even when they say there is some security exposure I tend to read it very carefully to see if the risk of not doing anything is worth the firmware update failing. It is not common but after spending many hours recovering from a attempt to load third party firmware I am now overly cautious

You say I should think about a new router.
If you want the truth, I bought this router less than 5 months ago.
