How to recover corrupt sd card files?

This is weird. I took my sd card out of my phone a bunch of times while it was on, nothing bad happened, other than a warning I got to turn my phone off before I do that. The one time I actually do turn my phone off before I take the card out, it corrupts. :/

Anyways, I can still see some of the pics on it from my phone, but I need to format it to use it in win7. There must be software or something to recover the files, since my phone can see them.

Then it's not corrupt, probably a driver issue. My laptop does this and plugging it in and out a few times helps. But if you can see it on your phone, can't you just transfer it when you plug the phone into the pc?

I was just plugging my sd card straight into the pc. I didn't plug in just my phone in so long cause it's a hassle, and I forgot I could. Guess I'll try it.. someday.

The charger is not usb? Another pc or friends pc you could try it on?

No it is usb, when I plug it in, autoplay only lets me start some software on the phone, for me to change it to let me see the files, i need to go to a notification on my phone to change it, but sometimes it doesn't show up. So yea I'll just need to try plugging my phone in some day
