How to recover EFS encrypted file after windows re-install

I have encrypted few files in the previous win 7 by EFS on the same machine but it crashed and i needed to format t after formatting it i was unable to recover those files as the files are available in the drive but cant open it, even TAKE OWNERSHIP also do not work. please help. and i do not have any backup of the previous window but the file is on the same machine as it is not allowed to copy/cut/delete even on the same machine.

If you encrypted it but do not have the keys backed up using this method http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Back-up-Encrypting-File-System-EFS-certificate , you can't recover the file.

sir i have just clicked for encrypyt contents to secure data by right click -> properties -> advance -> encrypt content to secure data. i dont know the keys to be saved for this..

What is that NSA ? and please people if u dont have a solution dont post that it cant be done i just want a solution. how it can be done. Because there must be some way may be the Microsoft wont tell but it must be there... and i m sure for it

There is no solution. It's encrypted to save the data from being read, if you did not backup up the encryptoin keys, you can't decrypt the data. It's basically locking something in a safe, the encryption key used is the combination. When you formatted the system, you threw away the combination. To keep that from happening you needed to make a backup of the encryption key before you hade issues.

Just because you want there to be a solution does not mean there is one. The only possible way is to find someone that is good at breaking encryption and have them try it.
