How to recover my firefox bookmarks

Hello,
i just noticed my firefox icon dissappeared and my bookmarks with it.Does anybody know how to recover it again. I have not doe anything yet just waiting for some help???

Go into Windows Explorer by clicking on My Computer then follow eth path to Program Files>Firefox, right click on the file firefox.exe and select Send to Desktop (create shortcut). While you're in there, double click the file to make sure it opens the programme.

Then,. as proffet suggests, you could set up X-Marks from the Tools>Xmarks>My Xmarks menu but it's only really useful if you run Firefox on another computer.
