How to resolve shortcut virus infected USB drive?

After connecting your USB drive, Open Run command prompt and type this command, attrib –h –r –s g:\*.* /s /d along with the spaces. Once you sort this out, never put your only copied of files on a flash drive, or any drive really. That's just asking for trouble. Use the flash drive only to move files around from system to system or as a backup drive. Even as a backup drive it's not a good idea since they fail more often than regular hard drives due to being moved around all the time.
