Hi! I have Dell Inspiron 1464(Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit) with two 2GB memory modules, making it a total of 4GB. The RAM is a Hynix memory module with model no.: HMT325S6BFR8C PC3-10600S

The specifications of the RAM says it has a clock speed of 1333 MHz (on Amazon). However, Speccy lists my RAM speed as a mere 525 MHz. Is there any limitation applied by Windows on RAM? Or is Speccy showing me wrong information? Please tell me what's wrong.

Also, will this RAM work with my laptop: Hynix DDR3 memory module?

Solution
DDR = Double Data Rate.
So 525MHz x2 (doubled) = 1050MHz.... so 1066MHz.

In the BIOS, you should be able to manually select the appropriate rated speed.
