I want to replace the old HDD with a new, but smaller SSD.
The existing HDD is 300GB divided in 2 partitions:
C: is 274 GB, of which the 64 GB is in use, and
D: is 26 GB, 24 GB of which is in use.

I need to reduce partition C: to 120 GB in order to fit my SSD but the problem is that, win10 - disk-administration - does not allow the C drive to become less than 137 GB

What shall I do?

Yes, that Free version does it.
As said..if the actual used space is only 64GB, you are golden.

However...before you start, I'd suggest using the Factory Reset function (that D partition), to create you own DVD set. Just in case you need it in the future.
Consult your user manual for how to invoke this.
Create those DVD's, and store them...

Are you looking to migrate that install to the new 120GB SSD?
And you're only using 64GB on that current drive?

No problem.
Macrium Reflect will do this. It only migrate the used space, not the whole partition.

I got this SSD as a Christmas gift and want to use it in my laptop.

I want to have my existing win10 and all other programmes installed on my laptop to be moved from the existing harddrive to the new SSD in order to speed up the performance a little.

Is it the Macrium Reflect Free at http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx you are talking about, or do I need the extended (paid for) versions?
