[SOLVED] How to reformat Maxter OneTouch4Mini from Windows xp to Imac OSX

I own a i mac now and would like to be able to use my Maxter OneTouch Mini 4. Can anyone explain to me if it can be reformatted to use on my mac and how I can do it. I am not a computer person so please be as clear as you can. Thank you.

Thank you for replying. I tried this solution, however when I connect the Maxtor OneTouch Mini4 to my iMac it does not recognize it when I went into Utilities. So I could not erase.
