how to remotely access and use another pc ?

my friend wants some help later on with some file stuff on his pc but hes far away so i have to do it remotley. anyone know any safe and easy software i can use to do this? and how to use it?

RDP its a built in windows app you need windows professional or better to use it I think. Or team viewer which is my preference.

ditto on the teamviewer

have used it many times and still do as often as needed. easy to set-up and use and just as simple to uninstall so there are no worries about others gaining access after the fact.
