How to remove a graphics card properly?

So I need to remove my graphics card to clean it and im scared on how to grab it and pull it out.
Its a GTX 770 so I dont know if I can grab it on top (not the fan side)
plz help

1. Completely shut down your machine and disconnect the power cable
2. Open the Side panel
3. Disconnect the power cables from the GPU
4. While holding the video card, unscrew the mounting screw from the side of the case.
5. On the PCI E Slot in which the card is slotted undo the latch on the far side.
6. Grip the sides or any area with the cooler module or back plate and gently pull the card toward you and out of the slot.

You might also want to ground yourself by touching some medal after #3.
