Sorry if this has been asked before, how do I get rid of cortana on win10?
Stupid thing opens up when ever it wants to. I don't even have a mic attached to my pc.
I googled delete cortana and got this:

Navigate to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Search. Double-click the file named Allow Cortana. When the file window appears just click Disable.
I tried search Local Computer Policy and can't quite figure this out. Can someone dumb this down for me or at least tell me how to get to my Local Computer Policy?
A search of how to access this Local Computer Policy says to go into the command line with gpedit. I am this system admin and I am using the admin account and gpedit is not recognized.
So if anyone can help me stupid proof this, I would much appreciate it...asking for a friend.
