Every now and then, users notice that they are being redirected to spurious webpages. All these happens because of browser hijacker which are installed when any freeware or shareware gets downloaded to the system. One such type of browser hijacker is Delta Toolbar which alters the browser settings and convert the default search engine to delta-search.com. Besides, it displays advertisements by modifying the search result. In this tutorial, I will elaborate the steps on how to remove Delta Toolbar from Google Chrome.
Remove Delta Toolbar from Chrome
Open Google Chrome, go to right corner icon as shown below then click on More tools > Extensions. A new window will list all the add-ons, find the delta toolbar in the list and delete it.
Remove Delta Search from Chrome
Step 1. Open Google Chrome, go to top-right corner icon. Then go to settings as shown in the figure.
Step 2. A new screen will be displayed. Go to Show advanced settings as shown below.
Step 3. In the next window, click on the reset settings to reset Google Chrome settings.
Step 4. In a new screen, select reset button to restore browser settings to their default. This step will remove all the browser hijackers from your Google Chrome by resetting all the settings.
Remove Delta Toolbar from Chrome
