How to remove dual boot options

My pc was installed with windows 10 dual boot with windows 7. After I removed windows 7 from harddisk somehow the dual boot options were not removed. I am still able to log into windows 10 but it is kind of disturbing.

How should I completely remove the dual boot screen and log into win10 directly?

yes. I have checked msconfig but there is no windows 7 in boot option.

Open an elevated command prompt. "Run CMD as admin"
type bcdedit press enter. does it show any info regarding win 7?

The free personal use version is all you need.

- Select Edit Boot Menu
- Highlight the Windows 7 entry in the right pane and select Delete
- Make sure Windows 10 is checked as default
- For Time Out Options select Skip the boot menu (This is what causes your current boot to wait for a selection)
- Click Save Settings

You can uninstall EasyBCD after you make the changes if you wish.

In windows search type this pc, right click on it and click properties. on the side click on advenced system settings. Go to the advanced tab. and under where it says startup and recovery click settings. Make sure your default operating system is set to windows 10. uncheck the box that says Time to display list of operating systems. You will see the number is grayed out and set to 0. click ok on both boxes and reboot. you will see that this fixes it.
