How to remove gpu?

There's a black tab closest to the black pin on the GPU in your picture - pull up on that tab (toward the CPU) as you're taking out the GPU to release it.

That looks like the stand for the heatsink/fan of the CPU, not GPU.

If you want to take heatsink/fan off, just put a flathead screwdriver in the slot and turn counterclockwise. Repeat for the other 3 stands.
 
Looking down on the motherboard, with the cpu at the top - above the gpu. You should see a tang sticking out down at the pcie slot on the RHS of the graphics card on top of the card - towards the CPU. You stick a small blade screwdriver down and use the blade to push the tang to the right.

Then you remove the power connectors and undo the screws that hold the card into the expansion slot and then you can pull the card out.

Thank you! Lost my nerves trying to figure out how to remove it and gave up on pulling it out.
