How to remove Linux completely to install Windows 8?

I recently built a computer but I didn't have the budget to buy Windows 8, so I installed Linux Mint 17. Now I have enough money to buy Windows, but I don't know how to completely remove Linux from my hard drive. So how do I remove Linux Mint to install Windows? Thanks!

Booting from the Windows install DVD:
When it asks 'Where', choose Advanced.
You will see several partitions. These are from the Linux install
Select each, Delete
Eventually you'll be left with one large unallocated space.
Allow Windows to use that, and install to that whole space.

So once I insert the Win 8.1 USB in the Linux computer and boot off of it, it'll give me a list of Linux partitions and I delete them all? Then I use the unallocated space to install windows to? Once I do that, it'll proceed with the regular installation of Windows 8?

When it asks 'What partition', select Advanced. You can then delete all those Linux partitions and move on.
