How to remove Nvidia GeForce 9300?

I have an HP Pavillion model number m9517c. We just bought a new graphics card, XXS Radeon 6670 Core edition 2 GB. I know how to remove the current graphics card but it happens to have a black and white cable connecting the graphics card to the motherboard or the back of the PC (not sure what its connected to). I have tried gently pulling, tried using tweezers and with no success. I have tried removing it from the tower part of PC and from the current graphics card but still have not been able to remove it.

I don't think that is the graphics card... the Geforce 9300 is integrated to the motherboard, not discrete.
