Hello

I did a clean install of Win 10 Home on my laptop
I have somehow or the other linked my Hotmail account to the OS and every time now when the laptop starts, I have to give my Hotmail password

Is there anyway, i can remove this requirement completely

Thanks for advising

Solution
You can make this easier by adding a PIN code to your account, so you can log in to your computer just by giving this PIN code. You can do this by opening start menu and clicking at your username at the top and selecting change account settings. There should be a tab called account settings where you can enable using PIN code. Other option is to disable using a password completely, you can do this by following this article at CNET.

In the Cnet article link you have given, A member has commented that since 22nd Jan 2016, it is no longer possible to completely bypass the password requirement ?

Is it true?

Not sure about that. Personally I use the PIN code, saves the time typing a complex password and still gives some security/privacy.
