How to remove speed throttling over wifi router.

My hostel has set a speed limit over the wifi for each person connected to it. Before the limit was set I used to get downloading speed of about 700 kbps, but now I get a speed of about 60 kbps. What can I do ( even temporarily) for getting the previous speed back.

Talk to the owner/manager. You can't force their router to give you and only you more throughput.
