How to remove stripped screw on PS4?

Was taking apart my PS4 Pro CUH-7016b. Everything went smoothly until i was putting it back together, the little black screw that holds the (heat plate?) underneath the APU got stripped. What should i do? It's a philips head screw.

Depends on the exact state of the screw.

If you're just assembling it and have a stripped screw out already, replace it with another screw.
