Solution
i can see one way that could probably work but only if you have win 10 Pro as its the group policy editor and its not available in home.

see bottom here: https://www.howtogeek.com/236241/how-to-enable-disable-and-customize-autoplay-in-windows-10/

wonder if deleting samsung drivers will make it go away. I can't seem to find anything helpful on the internet.

I can think of big fixes like set up a new local user, make it admin, copy contents of old user onto new, and see if the new user has same screens (probably best to do this before copying folders) but that seems a lot of work just for 1 thing. It seems odd you can't make it forget what you previously connected to it

But then windows search remembers any previously installed...
I don't know if this will work but try this

search cortana for control panel and open it
choose hardware and sound
choose Autoplay
scroll down to bottom of page and click reset all defaults.

if this works the S7 edge listings will disappear

sadly it didn't work

You should ask on https://www.tenforums.com/ but not sure which subforum, perhaps drivers and hardware since it sort of is
