How to remove write protection from my 4 gb transcend memorycard? I m not able to delete and format my memorycard

You didn't say what kind of card it is. If it's a SD card, there should be a small lock tab. Just slide it to the unlocked position. You should then be able to properly format it with the SD formatter.
