How to remove write protection from sd card?

OK THIS IS WHAT IM TRYING TO DO REMOVE THE WRITE PROTECTION FROM MY SD CARD DRIVE E" CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

on the side of the SD card the is a slide switch that locks the card move it away from the lock symbol

I hope your not yelling at us!?! ANYWAY! IF YOU DONT have a switch, follow these instructions.

1. Click on Start->Run.

2. Type regedit and hit enter

3. expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

4. expand SYSTEM

5. expand CurrentControlSet.

6. expand Control.

7. expand StorageDevicePolicies

8. Right click on WriteProtect and click modify.

9. If the value data is 1 change it 0 and click ok.

10. Repeat steps 6 to 9 for ControlSet001 and ControlSet002 .

11. Reboot
