How to repair booting error in my hp computer

My hp media center pc is show me an error message everytime i try starting it. The MESSAGE IS " DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER" how do i resolve the problem

Reinstall windows... lol If you cant get into Windows, its the only fix that is plausible...

You can also try booting into safe mode but it sounds like windows is fried...
