Shouldn't matter. Look at the wear marks on the other pins. That shows where the slot contacts the pins. You can see that the scuffs go almost to the base of the contact.

You do not have damaged GPU. The first pin is shorter on purpose as directed by PCIe standard.

Since I dont get any image from this card I thought it may be this connector

Interesting.
I checked on a GTX1050ti and the first pin was full length, and there seem to be some missing pins on the small tang as well as intermittent others on the main part.
I guess card makers can chose to use only the pins needed for their cards to work as designed.
Your card probably is ok.

What is the make/model of your gpu and monitor, as well as any other relevant parts of your pc?

I came here With the same problem and since my card looks exactly like yours, I’m relieved as I’m sure this is just how it’s supposed to be
