how to repair windows useing usb windows 10?

well i m haveing some issues with windows 10 and the start bar not working and the whole task bar so i looked it up online i have to do a sfc /scannow but when i when it it fails evertime. so i was trying to do a repair with the disk but i have the software on a usb

Try the DISM fix in this guide and see if that resolves the sfc problem and then try sfc / sacnnow again. If you're talking about repair install then the prerequisite is that you have to be booted into OS.

Make USB bootable with W10, boot from it and choose Repair.

didnt let me repair it i had to do a reinstall and just keep my files and used ddu for my video drivers then redownloaded it and everthing runs great now tys for the help no commands were working adding dism and sfc /scannow
