How to replaced intel atom processor by intel i3 in a intel motherboard?

I have Desktop with intel atom processor 1.6ghz on intel board it is too slow i want to repalce by i3 .help

The i3 is not compatible with motherboards that support the Atom. You would need to upgrade the motherboard too.
