Question How to reset a graphics card?

First, I do not know if "reset" is the correct word, but please allow me to explain it.
I have a Radeon RX 570. The following often happens a few times a day.
  1. Everything works fine. Dedicated GPU memory usage gradually increases.
  2. All three connected monitors turn black suddenly, and the Windows 10 Pro PC becomes non-responsive. A monitor may flash a few times.
  3. About 10 seconds or so later, everything is back to normal most of the time. However, it may hang sometimes and I have to reboot the computer. When it gets back to normal, it gives me the impression that the graphics card does a sort of "reset" to drop the memory usage dramatically as shown by the following screenshot:


I wonder if I can do this sort of "reset" proactively.
