Question How to reset BIOS Event Log on Dell XPS 15Z (L511z)?

How can I reset the BIOS Event Log on a Dell XPS 15Z (l511z)? This is the Phoenix SececureCore Tiano Bios.

(I bought a used XPS 15Z a while back. I got a DST short test error on the HDD. I've since replaced the HDD with a new SSD and want to sell the unit with a clear Event Log.

I did try removing both the battery and the CMOS battery for about 5 minutes. That reset the system clock etc., but not the BIOS Event Log.)

disable log in bios,save and exit
then enable it again, should be cleared afterwards
