how to reset bios password on toshiba l55

I had a virus, cldnt even restore to factory settings at one point, download sys mechanic after I created fac media to reset. Was running fine next thing I turn on n get black screen w BIOS PASSWORD. Watched few you tube videos but no one showed my model. It's battery is built in almost n dont know much bout under the hood, can anyone help? Ty! Mel

I actually find your reply quite offensive, I deal with computers daily and as a professional I have to deal with companies and private customers who have, for many reasons, lost, got locked out or forgotten a password. There are many "Legitimate" reasons why someone would ask for help re passwords.

To the PO you need to be more specific with the Model Number, I would also suggest you post on the Toshiba forum they are pretty helpful with this sort of thing and have helped me a few times.

I dont care if you find my response offensive. Go re-read the ToS you agreed to. No one here can give ANY assist to anyone to bypass any security measure on any device. Its even against the rules to ask. How do you know its really theirs? Are you psychic as well as an "IT professional"? Or do you just take their word for it on an internet forum?
