Question How to reset CMOS?

I don’t have a jumper cable or clip, so I just took out the battery. Now that the battery is taken out, what do I do next in order to reset CMOS?

I use a flat head screwdriver to short the CLR CMOS pins on my motherboard.
But as stated above unplug the PSU then hold the Power Button in for at least 30 seconds before shorting the CLR CMOS pins.
