How to reset Epson cartridge?

Seems there must be a way to reset an Epson printer cartridge without buying
the commercial resetter. Anyone know how?

Get a 'chip resetter', just a small caddy you insert the ink cart into
press a button and you are done.

Think JR & Jet-tec makes them and maybe ohers, have a peep on any
ink suppliers site should give you the answer.
