How to reset to default genres in WMP 12

I was typing a genre for an album in WMP 12 when it decided to jump out of the field and now I have a genre in the drop down for "Roc". How do I get rid of this?

Can you press <Del> while on it?

If you login with another Windows user on the same PC - do you see that same "Roc" genre?

No, I can't delete from the drop down list.

I don't have another account set up. I figure there must be a way to "get in there" and remove it from the list of genres that WMP has saved.

WMP keeps a "database" of all the songs / artists / genres / etc inside your profile folder. There are no (public) tools for accessing, or editing this database.

If you can afford to lose that database because of single spelling error, here is a Microsoft article how to do it.

Adding another user to your Windows takes about 10 mouse clicks, and 10 keystrokes.

To create another account, it wants me to sign it into all the Microsoft junk.

I guess I will just tolerate it. Bugs me that MS would design their application this way, like nobody ever makes typos.

You don't have to - you can create a Windows account which is not connected to a Microsoft account.

If I log in on a new account everything is blank, including the music library (which I guess is limited to my original account?) Tried editing genre for a CD and there were no drop-downs at all.
