How to reset windows registery to default

Solution
If you do a clean install of windows, you will get a default registry.

If you are having a problem with the registry, perhaps you can do a system restore from a previous system checkpoint.
You may have several restore points available to you.
Look in system protection.
It is easily accessed by a right click on this computer then properties.
no such thing. you should be making back-ups of the registry if you ever edit it.

every windows installation is different and it changes as you install programs and so on. you need to fix any issues oyu created or more than likely reset windows to start fresh.

what problems are you having exactly that you feel you need to reset the registry? maybe we can help you get things working right again if you tell us what you did and what errors you are having and so on.

finally, posting in all caps is not going to help anything. it is the internet equivalent of shouting and shouting at everyone is not exactly the way to get folks to help you.

The only "default" was the copy of the Registry you made right after you first installed the OS.
Or the copy you made just before doing whatever it was you just did.

What did you do to need this 'default' (which does not exist) ?
