Hey there
My son's iPad 3 (the older generation- not Air) froze- screen became unresponsive and we don't know how to restart it. If we press and hold power button, it asks to "Slide to power down". Well- we can not slide, obviously, so it goes back to the last screen. I was hoping to drain the battery out to restart but it is at 50% and after some notifications popped up, the background is black, so it does not use that much power and even if we keep turning it on every minute, it only drained like 1%. My child needs iPad in school tomorrow (they fully utilize iPads- their class schedule, home work assignments). Is there any way to hard power it off without sliding a screen?
Thank you.
