how to restore a hidden folder on hard drive?

Hi my hard drive says i only have two folders but i know i had 4 folders and saying its completely full. I can't see my other 2 folders. I would appreciate if somebody can tell me how i can find out if they are hidden and if so how i can unhide them. Thank you.

In the folder with the hidden files, hit the ALT key and choose Tools --> Folder Options from the toolbar that pops up at the top.

Go to the View tab and under "Hidden files and folders" chose the "Show hidden files, folders, drives." Then hit apply then Ok.
