How to restore factory settings on toshiba laptops that are locked by administra

Hi, I have just left school and have the laptop they gave me. I want to restore factory settings but at a certain point it says to continue log in as an administrator. Is there any way to get past this please? Thanks in advance.

Call the school and ask them, or install your own OS.
