My WD 750 passport suddenly said it can't read files from the device. Then I did a disk scan for errors etc. it said it created a folder called "FOUND" with all the errors but i was never able to find that folder. next thing I know. it says I have to reformat my drive. I still have some important things on the drive and don't want to lose everything. How do i recover it before I format it? the only option it gives me is to format the drive.
