How to restrict internet access of LAN connected PCs?

Hi.

I'd like to know how restrict a PC (connected via LAN) internet connection by putting a limit to amount of bandwidth it can receive in a day.

For example, a limit of 1GB download per day. Once it reached the 1GB limit, it will have slower internet compared to other
devices connected.

There is no solution that I know of that does what you want. You can use pfSense to limit the total usage, but I don't know of anything that will rate shape also. Maybe there is a way to do that with pfSense also.
