hallo everyone,

i am newbie and find this website is very helpful, i need some help.I Understand this question asked multiple times by people, but still i need some detail.i have win 7 32 bit on old computer (AMD biostar a780 lb +x2 athlon dual core)- just for office duty, casual youtube view.i prepare to buy new build ( H110 _+Kaby lake + probably still using win 7).

my motherboard damage, before i able to back up all data.
i create 3 partition, (C: as local, then D:, E), base on my experience,,D: and E:, might be accessible -(since they are not local/system disk) , my question is can i access data on local drive C ( mostly kept my data on desktop).

so, i have 3 scenario in my mind and seek advice which one is effective to retrieve file on local disk/Dekstop folder:.

1. i will put my hard disk on external case, and through USB port, install hard disk to my Laptop on win 10 OS - question is, does FOLDER on C:(win 7 system) is accessible for Win 10 ?

2. Plug and install old Hard drive (with win 7 system), directly to new H110 board+kabylake CPU, hoping that still able to boot up (on safe mode perhaps) just to collect my data/ copy to USB flash disk- i don't need all driver etc)- if it success, then i will continue to fresh install (delete partition-recreate new partition). - I PREFER this one as i don't need to buy external hard disk box, but is it possible??

3. buy new hard disk as main storage, install new entire system (h110+ kaby lake cpu) using similar win 7, install this old hard disk as 2nd Sata drive. i dont have experience on this, can i access the C: desktop folder?

4. Last and longest way, hopefully i dont need this step, should i buy old mobo with samechip (around 30 USD)
just to access my C folder? i also can pay 5-10 usd pay service to local shop as they provide similar mobo so i can back up.

Have anyone experience like me? i am afraid when i plug hard disk to new hard disk (assume i use same win 7 OS ),i have experience similar case, and appear message box, saying local C: DRIVE is not accesible.

please give me advice.. i dont want to lose all data on local drive C :
after this one solve, i will fresh install
