How to revert from Windows 10 back to Windows 7 after one month on an OEM product key?

Hello everyone. I have an OEM Gateway computer and I recently bought a new desktop on Black Friday. I want to revert my Gateway desktop back to Windows 7 and do a factory restart so I may sell it. However, when I try to download the iso from Microsoft, it tells me my key is an OEM one and to contact the manufacturer.

So I went to Gateways website and it says to press F8 during boot and do a bunch of stuff but pressing F8 when it says to does nothing and Windows 10 boots like normal.

Any help is much appreciated!

Solution
If you want to go back to the original Win 7, you needed to create the factory recovery DVD way earlier, like when the PC was new.

Or, create a disk image before you Upgraded to Win 10.

Or, reverted back to WIn 7 within the initial 30 days

Or, purchase the DVD recovery set from Gateway.

Or, sell it as is.
Do a clean install of Win 10, wiping everything on it. Resulting in 'just the OS'.

Or...sell it with no OS, or a Linux OS, and let the buyer figure out what he needs.

I would sell it as is with Windows 10 installed, but I have Windows 10 Education installed with my email through my university. So am I just SOL? Or is there a way to go from Education to regular?

Win 10 Education is not applicable for resale, nor can you turn that into a regular license without paying for it.
You are pretty much out of luck.

Dang. That's what I figured. Thanks for the help!

Change the product key....into what?
He no longer has that for the theoretical Win 7.

The key works but Microsoft won't let me download the .iso file I need for Windows 7 because the key is tied to the Windows that came preinstalled with my desktop.

Right.
You need to get that install stuff from Gateway.

Or...just sell it without a Windows OS. Wipe the drive and install Linux. Let the new buyer figure it out.
