How to rid my computer of NETWORK 3 which suddenly appeared with many disruptions ?

Icons that were at the bottom of my screen are now at the top displacing my 'tools' for Internet
communicating( 'Tools' heading disappeared, e.g. 'High Importance' ) for example.
I can find no means of deleting this item. The closest I got to doing that produced a 'Not Connected'
message that completely disrupted my incoming mail- could not receive until it was 'reconnected' !
Actual 'delete' could not be found.

Hi, I think what you mean to do is go to start menu/control panel/network and sharing center/manage network adapters or change adapter settings (what ever one you have) network 3 should be listed there, right click and delete
