[SOLVED] how to run 2400 memory clock with 2133JEDEC/2666XMP2 RAM on B250M-A board?

i5-7600T
Corsair 2666/16 (JEDEC is up to 2133)
Samsung 2.5" SATA SSD
ANTEC 650W "blue"

The default memory speed is 2133 by the bios. I tried simply 2400 in BIOS but it won't boot. Before trying further without knowledge I thought I would ask here first...
How do I set 2400 (which is in between max JEDEC and XMP) with this board? Anyone have experience with this board?

unless there an oc option. you don't run it at 2400

it is not OC... the CPU is spec'd for 2400 and the memory can handle 2666.... thus not an OC for either of them. It is just not set for automatic setup. And I don't know how...
