How to run a samsung monitor without DVI cable and obly RGB cable

My monitor, when powered on, will show falshesof either analog or digital. After tryingmany things to get the screen to do something else, it finally selected digital and now says to "check signal cable". I understand that the DVI cable is not plugged in because my computer tower does not have that option. So now the monitor doesn't do anything else. If I want it to just run on analog, what do I do? And is it even possible to run the monitor without using the DVI cable? I've tried almost everything and I am kind of desperate to get this thing working now lol

if your computer doesnt have dvi then it must be really old.

my guess is that you have a vga port instead. there are adapters to go from vga to dvi and that is probably what you should try.
